Careers

We are currently seeking energetic professionals to work with some of the nation's most premier healthcare delivery systems. At the core of our offering resides a powerful talent development technology suite and approach. Our associates utilize the HLS Platform to drive improved business outcomes with hospitals all across the United States. HLS is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. There are specialized offices in India and Singapore. Additionally, numerous employees whose jobs entail extensive travel (such as Marketing, Implementation and Consulting roles) work from their homes in cities all across the United States. All recruiting is handled centrally from the headquarters.

Business Analyst

Business Analysts play a lead role in ensuring that new members are successfully “on boarded”, working with hospital staff to conduct process mapping, extract content and data, and troubleshoot technical and non-technical challenges. Using a variety of technologies, Business Analysts assess client processes to identify improvement opportunities and develop and facilitate educational events. A key part of a Business Analyst's job is to develop presentations and reports that illustrate the potential and realized impact of the talent development efforts. In addition, they provide ongoing business and technical support including customization of the HLS Platform itself to meet the needs of the members.

Site Lead

The Dedicated Site Lead is the primary relationship manager for our membership programs and plays the lead role in managing project timelines and ensuring that members generate significant value from their partnership with Zimmerman. Site Leads are assigned a pool of clients with whom they work from the start of the engagement. After the engagement team defines the specific needs and goals of each client, the Site Lead works to customize the talent development toolset used to transform hospital signature processes into highly interactive and engaging learning content. A key part of the Site Lead’s job is to develop easy-to-use dashboards, reports and ad hoc analyses of the learning events and competency levels achieved by the hospital staff. In addition, Site Leads are responsible for training members on the HLS software and for facilitating weekly “operating rhythm” with the member to identify potential impediments and recommend corrective action.

Instructional Designer

Instructional Designers play a shared resource role, working directly on the instructional design needs for our members. Using the HLS Platform, our Instructional Designers work with our clients to set courseware with vision and creativity. Instructional designers assess the training needs of each hospital and translate them into meaningful, content-accurate, audience-appropriate deliverables, including eLearning, classroom, simulations or lab-based methods and other delivery mechanisms. In addition, Instructional Designers utilize our proprietary content authoring tool and other tools and technologies commercially available.

Marketing Associate

Marketing Associates have the unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and fundamental business skills in marketing, sales, writing, and communication. An entry-level position will be responsible for day-to-day interaction with our prospective members and play a major role in the business development process, from initial contact with a prospective member to facilitating momentum of a positive decision toward membership.

Regional & National Account Director

Regional and National Account Directors market our membership programs to prospective members and secure new member and client relationships for the firm. In this entrepreneurial role, they are responsible for driving the acquisition of new business within an assigned territory through a consultative and “solution selling” process in which they build relationships with senior executives and market membership programs.
